Junah Sibony’s photography portrays the current state of American urbanism and critiques modern architecture and redevelopment through the display of disused spaces. Rooted in the goal of historic preservation, these works serve as an expose of the spaces hidden from the eye of the public, that have been or inevitably will be destroyed. 

Sibony’s various works can be seen in NYCLPC requests for evaluation and have been exhibited in the Town of Wheatfield Historical Society, Preservation Buffalo Niagara’s Greenbook initiative, the Space exhibit at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center's Living Museum, and Illegal Freedom Magazine. 

Junah Sibony is based out of Brooklyn NY and currently studies Environmental Design at the University of Buffalo, as well as Historic Preservation at Columbia University.
